Gorechik was born from the first pendulum sketch in the spring of 2021 in Warsaw. It was drawn by artist and entrepreneur Maryna Haretskaya. Today, silver works of art are shaped and polished in a local jewelry workshop and sent to you with care from our office in Mokotów. Here is the story from the creator about her silver ocean of Gorechik:

«My passion for jewelry begins with excavations and mysteries. I am intrigued by ancient cultures and the meanings inscribed in symbols from different traditions. I love museums and libraries. I can spend hours among exhibits, exploring antique jewelry showcases or painted necklaces in the works of famous artists. Old books and engravings, all contribute to my creative process.

Water is my element. I find strength where waves rise. My name, Maryna, means "maritime" in Latin.

The close connection between my love for history and excavations, and my sympathy for water inspired me to create jewelry with fluid and tactile forms resembling underwater treasures. Droplets and movable elements are central to my designs.

I convey the essence of water through living metal – silver. 

History

In my jewelry, I combine images from around the world. Woven from different cultures, traditions, and symbols from antiquity into a unique and contemporary work. It is a timeless ornament. Everything has meaning. I convey my feelings, my belief in what I feel around each piece of jewelry. I create it. The connection of antiquity and the present creates the eternal. This is my motto. 

Philosophy

The simplicity of my design and the perfection of the metal create a symbiosis with mystery and depth, purity and sincerity. Each object contains its own divinity, its unique beauty. Sacred geometry. The mystery of creation providing mystical experiences. Jewelry is my way of expressing myself and interacting with the world. It is a reflection of my inner world, my experiences, my feelings and thoughts.
