My own silver world. Presentation 2023

My own silver world. Presentation 2023

While I was being taught to expand my boundaries, I realized that I don't have any at all. I conceive, create, and execute with a full understanding that anything is possible! That's my superpower. One of them, at least.

I've been creating my own worlds my entire life, I live in them... and today, I'm ready to reveal this universe.

The presentation of my jewellery brand is the first step on the high staircase towards my inner state. It's an invitation to touch what used to belong only to me. Now, I am ready to share. I genuinely desire it.

For me, jewellery is much more than just metal that I wear for adornment. I infuse meaning into each piece I wear and into every art object I create with that jewellery.

At the presentation, I wanted to create not just a display of jewellery; I wanted everyone who attended to immerse themselves in my world. I wanted them to see what jewellery can be beyond just adorning a person, to understand what they mean to me. I wanted to show what inspires me, how ideas are born.

With the first step, everyone entering my space immersed themselves in the universe of water, fluidity, touches, and the absence of rules.

A massive screen displaying a video. It was an art house with frames compiled from various stages of the jewellery brand. A collaboration of silver, sounds of the sea, my emotions, and feelings. Some of the footage was shot shortly before the presentation, intentionally. Some were captured at the very beginning of my journey as a jewellery designer.

At the entrance, you could notice silver droplets suspended in the air. The idea was to feel like you were under a silver rain. Due to the constantly shifting light falling on the droplets from the video screen, they weren't always immediately visible. Some guests only noticed them after a few hours.

The pendulum! I created an art object where I suspended a pendulum above rotating sand. The sharp tip of silver barely touched the grains, creating its own pattern. The pendulum could be gently touched to make it swing, forming a mandala on the spinning sand. A fractal with a hidden meaning known only to it. No matter how much it swung and what patterns it created, the pendulum always knew when to stop.

Water. A smooth surface that can be disrupted by any droplet falling from above, any even the gentlest touch from above. A deep, dark bowl of water. In the middle, right at the surface, silver circles radiate outwards on the water.

Fabrics, brushes, canvases with texts – it's all about the inspiration from Japanese philosophy. Enormous scrolls with a history, which is what my art is all about

The focal point was the photographs. Massive canvases assembled from photos and jewellery. A collage of human body curves and silver.

All of this was conceived to tell a story, to show what jewellery can speak of and what meaning they can carry within them.

And this is just the beginning...
