Własny świat srebra. Prezentacja Gorechik Jewellery 2023

A Silver World of Her Own. Gorechik Jewellery Presentation 2023

While I was taught to broaden my boundaries, I realized I had none at all. I create and perform with the full understanding that anything is possible! This is my superpower. At least one of them.

All my life I have been creating my own worlds, living in them... and today I am ready to discover this universe.

The presentation of my jewelry brand is the first step on a high staircase into my inner self. It is an invitation to touch what once belonged only to me. Now I am ready to share it. I long for it.

For me, jewelry is so much more than just metal that I wear as an adornment. I pour meaning into every piece I wear, into every art object I create with this jewelry.

I wanted everyone present to immerse themselves in my world. I wanted them to see what jewelry can be beyond adorning a person and what it means to me. I wanted to show what inspires me and how an idea is born.

With the first step, everyone entering was immersed in the universe of water, fluidity, touch, and no rules.

A huge screen displayed a video – an art gallery with shots from various stages of the brand's existence. The cooperation of silver, sounds of the sea, my emotions and feelings. Some shots were deliberately filmed right before the presentation. Others were captured at the very beginning of my journey as a jewelry designer.

At the entrance, silver drops suspended in the air. Rain.
Due to constant changes in light falling on the drops from the video screen, they were not always visible. Some guests noticed them only after a few hours.

Pendulum! I created an art object in which I suspended a pendulum over rotating sand. The sharp silver tip barely touched the grains, creating its own unique pattern. The pendulum could be gently touched to make it swing, creating a mandala on the spinning sand. A fractal with a hidden meaning. No matter how much it swung and what patterns it created, the pendulum always knew when to stop.

Water. A smooth surface that can be disturbed by any drop falling from above, the gentlest touch. A deep, dark bowl of water. In the center, just below the surface, silver circles radiate on the water.

Fabrics, brushes, canvases with texts – all inspired by Japanese philosophy. Huge papyri with a story that is the essence of my art.

The central point was the canvases. Images composed of photos and jewelry. A collage of the curves of the human body and silver.

All this was conceived to tell a story. To show what jewelry can say and what meaning it can carry within itself.

And this is just the beginning...
