Fashion week is always a high concentration of the most stylish people, especially if it's in Milan.
I enjoy following such events, examining outfits and styles, but I've never thought about attending such an event myself.
Those who know me well understand perfectly what I mean.
I'm an introvert to the power of two. I enjoy observing the world from the sidelines, but I have no interest in participating in the hustle and bustle. I can confidently open up in my blog, create candid photoshoots, and it's absolutely normal for me to not engage with people at all. I feel quite constrained at official events and in large gatherings, constantly seeking a quiet corner for solitude. I feel a strong connection to one-way communication with the world, where I create, and the world simply accepts it.
However, at this point in my life, I crave expression. It's important for me to create, to transform inner experiences and emotions into physical objects, and to share them with the world.
It seems that, as a very introverted person, I create something that travels the world and attends fashion weeks on my behalf.
It seems like the perfect way for me to express myself. My jewellery travels the world, sharing the philosophy embedded in them, and often, they create their own. I don't need to add anything; the silver speaks for itself.
On January 13th, the presentation of the new Ih Nom Uh Nit collection took place during Milan Fashion Week. I was contacted by the creative agency 282US, led by the fantastic Marta Sanchez and Elbio Bonsaglio, with a collaboration proposal.
They were attracted by the rings that are currently the best-selling items in my brand, the piercing rings.
When I was creating them, I never thought they would turn out to be so unique. "Wow! We've never seen anything like this!" "I don't want to take it off!" "This is amazing!" - these are the kinds of comments I hear every time I see new looks frozen in front of the store display.
